The 2024 Embark Georgia Leadership Conference will be a two-day in person event hosted at the Georgia Center for Continuing Education on the campus of the University of Georgia. The conference is designed to bring together professionals and students to build relationships, share information, and increase educational opportunities for young people who have experienced foster care and/or homelessness. Speakers will include statewide and national leaders in the areas of higher education, child welfare, and K-12 education along with young people with lived experience.

Embark Georgia is a statewide network of support for young people who have experienced foster care and/or homelessness and are enrolled or interested in attending any postsecondary educational institution in Georgia, is hosted at the J.W. Fanning Institute for Leadership Development at the University of Georgia.
