Management and Leadership Development ProgramIndustry-focused leadership development for existing and emerging leaders

For several years, Georgia EMC has partnered with the Fanning Institute to help prepare the organization’s emerging leaders for leadership positions within the cooperative at several of its affiliates around the state. Through multi-session management and leadership development programs highlighting a comprehensive list of leadership and management topics, the program enhances participants’ effectiveness in managing the opportunities and challenges faced in the organization.

Designed as a highly interactive series of workshops, the Fanning Management and Leadership Development program (MLDP) helps individuals develop and practice leadership skills. Sessions are based on adult learning practices emphasizing experiential learning and built around an effective mix of content delivery, discussion, activity, and practice.

Each MLDP participant will take part in:

  • an Emergenetics assessment, resulting in an individualized portfolio designed to leverage his/her patterns in thinking and behavior;
  • a 360 Leadership Practices Inventory assessment completed by the individual, peers, direct report, and supervisor(s);
  • group led service project requirement.
