Undergraduate and Graduate Student Leadership DevelopmentSupporting leadership and personal skill development for UGA classes and organizations.

Fanning faculty work with faculty, staff and students in transforming classes into experiential leadership learning programs and support the development of student leaders in a variety of settings. From facilitation of team building sessions for student ambassador groups to the design and facilitation of peer mentoring projects, Fanning has experience working with students. Fanning has also partnered with faculty from the University of Georgia to offer unique leadership sessions combined with the traditional classroom experience. Supporting both undergraduate and graduate students from a variety of disciplines, our experience infusing a culture of leadership into the learning environment is strong. Faculty and students evaluate the experiences as invaluable additions to the college experience and important components to preparing a diverse student body as productive contributing citizens.

Fanning faculty are available to work with you in developing experiences that best suit your program and student needs. Faculty may offer a short session to complement your existing program or develop a series of learning activities to infuse throughout the semester or year. In either case, programs are designed to include evaluation and assessments to consider outcomes and results.

Faculty expertise across leadership and soft skills provide a depth of opportunities to meet your student’s needs. Fanning has worked with Ambassadors in the College of Education, College of Family and Consumer Sciences, and the Terry College. In-depth programs including the Emerging Engineering Leaders program in the College of Engineering and GS LEAD through the Graduate School.
