Bio

As director of the Fanning Institute, Welch works to advance our mission of developing leaders and strengthening communities across Georgia and beyond. She focuses on guiding internal projects, supporting organizational growth, and creating opportunities that enhance the Institute’s ability to serve individuals and communities.

Previously, Welch served as Chief Strategy and Growth Officer at the Georgia Leadership Institute for School Improvement (GLISI), where she led efforts focused on organizational strategy, growth initiatives, and leadership development. Her experience spans executive leadership, program development, and building partnerships that support lasting transformation.
