In her role at the Fanning Institute, Charlyene provides program support mainly for the institute’s nonprofit leadership efforts. Two of her primary programs are the Lynda B. Williamson Foundation Women’s Leadership Academy and ELPNO. Her duties include assisting faculty and clients with budget and contract development, program logistics, programmatic assessment and reporting.
Charlyene joined the Fanning Institute in 2019, coming to UGA from the Hart County School System, where she worked in the superintendent’s office as Executive Assistant for Federal Programs and Human Resources. There, she coordinated teacher and administrator certifications and CPI state reporting. She also has over 15 years of experience in the medical business office field handling physician credentialing, provider contracts with insurance companies, claims and patient accounts. Charlyene has nearly 20 combined years of experience in video editing, photography and design.
She is a past co-president of Leadership Hart.
