Bio

Arden Bakarich works with the Embark Georgia Center to support youth leadership programs focused on youth who have experience with foster care and homelessness. Her main role is leading operations for the Education and Training Voucher (ETV) Program, a program that works with student accounts to verify eligibility and financial aid, and coordinate documentation and payments. Her work helps reduce barriers for students with foster care or homeless experience.  

Bakarich previously worked in community outreach and child advocacy in Athens–Oconee as a court appointed special advocate,supporting children and families involved in the child welfare system and collaborating with community partners to connect families to resources.

  • B.S. in social work, University of Georgia
