Current Position

Diane Southwood serves as program coordinator for nonprofit and professional organizations—leadership development.

Current Activities and Expertise

Southwood assists with contracts for clients and venues for programs, registrations, data entry, publications and materials. Current programs include the Executive Leadership Program in Nonprofit Organizations (ELPNO), the Area Agencies on Aging and Athens Peer Court. She also serves as staff representative for both Public Service & Outreach and UGA Staff Councils.

Previous Experience

She has been with the University of Georgia since 1994. Previously she provided support to the Development Authority Training (DAT) program including program registration, participant services and communication, production and materials.

She also was program coordinator for the Community Leadership Association from 2005-2009 (membership services; association programming and annual conference; and public relations and communications).

She was a Community Leadership Program Coordinator – tracking on-going programs as well as assisting client with new programs and instructors.
