Hospital Authority Training
| Description |
Fanning Institute Hospital Authority Training (HAT) has been approved by the Georgia Hospital Association (GHA). HAT is designed to help hospital authorities obtain the required twelve hours of annual certification training and is modeled after Fanning’s successful Development Authority Training. The existing GHA program modules are presented in self-paced video, audio and CD formats; the new Fanning program presents the material in a facilitated classroom environment with experts in law, communication, collaboration, leadership, governance, mediation and negotiation. The first three-hour module is entitled Hospital Authorities; What a Trustee Needs to Know. Additional sessions focus on specific legal issues impacting the hospital, communication and leadership skills of the trustees, and governance of the hospital. |
