Biography

L. B. “SKIP” TEASTER CEcD, PCED, IOM PUBLIC SERVICE ASSOCIATE FANNING INSTITUTE UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA Skip Teaster brings a diverse background to the Public Service and Outreach forum. His career has spanned a broad range of experiences from military service, consumer finance, education, managed healthcare, heath care consulting, hospital business development, chamber of commerce, and community economic development. Mr. Teaster has been successful in rural, urban, and inter-city settings which yielded new business attraction, relocation and / or expansion projects in the communities he worked in. He enhanced a model for regional partnering under the auspices of the Valley Partnership which include five rural counties, one stand alone community and one urban center that housed a local enterprise zone.
