Biography

Program Coordinator Ms Ward has served as an administrative secretary with the Carl Vinson Institute of Government, assisting faculty of the Community and Regional Development Division in a wide array of administrative capacities, and as an archival associate and oral history assistant in the UGA Libraries Richard B. Russell Library for Political Research and Studies. Other experience includes program guide editor WGTV, managing editor of GPTV’s Fine Tuning, piano instructor and pianist/accompanist for choral and dance groups. She also has experience as a newspaper copy editor, administrative assistant to the director of the Trans America Athletic Conference, emergency room and hospital ward secretary. Ms. Ward currently supports faculty of the Fanning Institute in the areas of water and environmental concerns, downtown development, Communities of Opportunity, Quality Growth Resource Teams and various regional endeavors.
