Program Coordinator

Programs EMBRACE, Leadership NGTC 2009

Biography

Lori Tiller joined the Fanning Institute as a Program Coordinator in July of 2008 after serving for seven years with UGA’s Office of Performing Arts.  Lori earned her undergraduate degree in Music Education from UGA’s School of Music in 2001, and in 2005 she returned to school for a graduate degree in nonprofit management under UGA’s Nonprofit Institute and completed her degree in spring of 2007.  Her graduate degree gave her a chance to explore nonprofit areas other than music, which lead her to find this position.  Lori comes to the Fanning Institute with a background in nonprofit event management, volunteer management, and community outreach.  Throughout her seven years in arts administration she worked with professional artists, community schools and administration, in addition to managing community volunteers, and keeping the UGA Chapel calendar, facility, and events running smoothly.  Lori has presented lectures and training seminars on both arts and volunteer management at the collegiate and community level.  While with Fanning she will be working in the areas of Youth Leadership, Development Authority, Community Leadership, and many other projects.
