Debbie Allen

Debbie Allen provides support for various programs, manages program support for the other program coordinators, and supervises undergraduate student workers.  She has worked in various positions at the University of Georgia for 30 years.

Prior to joining the Fanning Institute, Debbie served as conference coordinator with the Governmental Training, Education and Development division of UGA’s Carl Vinson Institute of Government (CVIOG). In that position, she assisted with a number of programs such as the State Financial Management Certificate Program, as well as the Annual Tax Commissioner, Tax Assessor, and CAVEAT Conferences. As coordinator for the Newly Elected Tax Commissioner Conference, she served as the UGA and CVIOG representative at various planning, fiscal management and budget development, and marketing promotion meetings. Debbie also served as liaison with client groups and as on-site coordinator for these programs.

On a personal level, her interests include reading and spending time with her family.
