Community Economic Development Program

The Community Economic Development Program (CEDP) has established an excellent track record in assisting communities and regions in their efforts to enhance their abilities to improve their citizens’ standards of living. The program model involves key stakeholders in a process which leads to an optimal level of investment in their communities. This model has proven successful in a number of communities throughout Georgia, in the southeastern region of the United States, and internationally.

While CEDP continues to provide limited support to ongoing efforts, the emphasis is always on exploring a variety of challenging endeavors that have the potential to move rural Georgia forward. It is the goal of CEDP to have efforts provide opportunities for the citizens of our state while continuing to improve how we provide this service.
