Our Work
The Fanning Institute supports community transformation through cultivating skills, identifying and exploring options, and implementing plans and solutions. Just as there are overlaps and interconnections among community, economic, and leadership development, it is difficult to precisely categorize specific efforts at Fanning as being entirely cultivating, exploring, or doing—and the most successful community transformation efforts have elements of each.
Recognizing that our work is multifaceted, what follows is a general outline of the range and scope of Fanning’s varied programs and projects.
