Debbie Allen

Program Coordinator
Debbie Allen joined the Fanning Institute in the summer of 2002 as a program coordinator and has worked at the University of Georgia for twenty-seven years in various positions, including the College of Veterinary Medicine, The College of Education, The Graduate School, the College of Business Administration, and the College of Agricultural Sciences.
Mostly recently, Debbie held the position of conference coordinator with the Governmental Training, Education and Development division of the Carl Vinson Institute of Government at the University of Georgia. Her position included coordinator for the State Financial Management Certificate Program including marketing promotion and all administrative aspects of the program. She also served as coordinator for the Annual Tax Commissioner, Tax Assessor, and CAVEAT Conferences and the Newly Elected Tax Commissioner Conference, where she served as representative of the University of Georgia and the Carl Vinson Institute of Government at various planning meetings, fiscal management and budget development and marketing promotion. Debbie served as liaison with client groups and served as on-site coordinator for these programs.
On a personal level, Debbie’s interests include, reading, community involvement and church related activities. Debbie lives in Watkinsville and has a daughter, Christina, and a grandson, Taylor.
