The sixth annual Leadership Day in Georgia, sponsored by the Georgia Rural Development Council was held February 12, 2007. Leadership Day is a time when leaders from all across Georgia come together to share best practices, success stories, and identify ways to improve leadership efforts in Georgia.

Attendance was in excess of 780 people from all over the state of Georgia. All of the members of the Georgia General Assembly were invited. This year 4Hers from 45 counties were honored as part of State 4H Day.
The program included speakers Senator Saxby Chambliss, Lt. Governor Casey Cagle, Representative Glenn Richardson (Speaker of the House), DCA Commissioner Mike Beatty, Dr. Bo Ryles and Les Csorba.
Les Csorba is a writer, teacher, executive recruiter, and leadership counselor to corporate CEO’s and corporate boards. The event was coordinated by Fanning Institute faculty member Louise Hill and Program Coordinator Emily Davis.
