The 21st Annual Public Service & Outreach Meeting and Awards Luncheon took place this Monday, April 16 at the Georgia Center. Among those faculty, staff and fellows honored at the Awards Luncheon were Fanning’s own Maritza Soto Keen and Emily Davis.

Athens, Ga. — The Athens Health Network Community Health Partner Program held its first graduation ceremony on March 9, 2012, recognizing five graduates for completing the eight-week training program. The program, funded by a grant from the Kaiser Foundation through the Athens Area Community Foundation, gives patients in Athens the opportunity to learn about a variety of health topics and practice clinical skills.

Athens, Ga. – The Executive Leadership Program for Nonprofit Organizations, a partnership of the University of Georgia, Georgia State University and Georgia Tech, is accepting applications for its next session on June 17-22 at the UGA Fanning Institute in Athens.  At ELPNO, nonprofit executives work side-by-side with a nationally known, prominent university faculty on issues such as nonprofit finance, governance, ethics, resource development, and the theory and practice of leadership.
